Prairie Circle Unitarian Universalist Congregation’s (PCUUC) worship service or other programs may be cancelled due to emergency conditions – weather or other causes.
The announcement of community-wide event or program cancellation will be made via status posting on WGN’s www.EmergencyClosingCenter.com. To check to see if a PCUUC event or program has been cancelled, log onto www.EmergencyClosingCenter.com and search for Prairie Circle Unitarian Universalist Congregation in Grayslake. A status will only be found if there is a cancellation.
If there is not status listed, the program or event will take place as scheduled and PCUUC community members should use their judgement as to whether or not they feel safe travelling to the event. This service will only be used for community-wide events such as worship services, community meetings, social events, etc. The status of PCUUC committee meetings and other small group gatherings should be communicated via the committee chair or host of that meeting or event.
If you would like to receive e-mail notification of PCUUC closure or event cancellation, log onto www.EmergencyClosingCenter.com and click on the Email Notification tab within the main navigation bar. Search for Prairie Circle Unitarian Universalist Congregation in Grayslake. Click on the picture of the envelop, then enter your name and up to two e-mail addresses. If PCUUC’s status changes you will automatically be e-mailed with that status change information.
If you have any questions or problems, please contact Kent McKenzie at VP@PrairieCircleUUC.org or there is an e-mail contact for support on the www.EmergencyClosingCenter.com website.
