This Is Our Religion

For us holy living is wholly living
and religious education is the door
through which we pass
to sort out our feelings,
and our understandings,

About science and the natural world,
About history and religious ideas,
About people and human relationships.

With discussion and reading,
With art and drama and dance,
With poetry and song as our aids,

From this sorting out come our values.
From our values come our actions
And our inner resources.

This is our religion.
