The Green Team
Prairie Circle Unitarian Universalist Congregation (PCUUC) has decided to further its commitment to caring for our earth. The Green Team has been formed as a subcommittee of the Social Action Committee and will will be focused in two primary directions.
1. Lake County Green Congregations Participation: The mission of Lake County Green Congregations is to organize people of faith committed to nurturing our environment. This group is organizing various events and efforts to further the cause.
2. PCUUC Green Beans: This group will focus within the PCUUC community to run recycling programs and events, provide sustainability information within Sunday mornings’ order of service, provide sustainability information for our monthly newsletter, and partner with local businesses and organizations to help congregants further green practices within their daily lives.
