Coming of Age Celebration

Our Unitarian Universalist faith and tradition encourages religious and spiritual exploration, a responsible search for meaning, in which we support each other's spiritual growth within community. 

For the past year, 7 teens within our Tree of Life and Prairie Circle congregations have been discussing their beliefs and values together and with our religious educators, In the UU tradition of the Coming of Age worship service, these 7 young people will share their personal statements of belief, called a credo statement, with the wider congregation in a worship service that they have designed, planned, and will facilitate. This memorable and meaningful worship service is deeply important to our young people, their families, and our church communities. Please join us Sunday May 3 at 10am in the Byron Colby Barn in Grayslake for this unique and important worship service.
