About the event
What are the life lessons, and lessons for our spirit and our faith, that we can learn from the waters that surround us? Join Chaplain Dave and our Prairie Circle Choir as we explore and celebrate our connection to one another and to the wider web of life, our one world and one interconnected body of water. Our multigenerational worship service will take place at Nippersink Forest Preserve and will include our annual water communion ceremony, a liturgy and ritual celebrated in Unitarian Universalist congregations around the world. Bring a small container from one of the important waters in your life, whether it be from home, a nearby river or lake, or from someplace special to you near or far. We will follow our worship service with a picnic. All are welcome and invited.
Dave Becker is a Unitarian Universalist Minister and Interfaith Chaplain. He is Pastor for Prairie Circle Unitarian Universalist Congregation in Grayslake, IL and for Tree of Life Unitarian Universalist Congregation in McHenry, IL.
