About the event
This Sunday we continue the beloved tradition of Flower Communion, begun over 100 years ago in Czechoslovakia cherished by UU congregations around the world, celebrating the beauty of our uniqueness and diversity, interconnectedness, life, and community. Prairie Circle members and friends are invited to bring a flower or two from their yard, garden, local florist, nearby field or store to share with all in this beautiful and heartfelt ceremony. As is our own unique PCUUC tradition, we will meet this Sunday at Nippersink Forest Preserve for worship and fellowship in this magnificent setting.
Dave Becker is a Unitarian Universalist Minister and Interfaith Chaplain. He is Pastor for Prairie Circle Unitarian Universalist Congregation in Grayslake, IL and for Tree of Life Unitarian Universalist Congregation in McHenry, IL.
NOTE: Because this is an outdoor service, there will be no Zoom version. Click here for more information about Nippersink Forest Preserve.
