Byron Colby Barn, 1561 Jones Point Rd, Grayslake, IL 60030, USA
About the event
This multigenerational worship service will celebrate each day as a new beginning and as a holy day. Through story, poetry, and song, we will acknowledge and recognize the beginning of the Eastertide season, the International Day of Trans Visibility, and reflect on celebrations local and global. This joint worship service for both Prairie Circle and Tree of Life UU Congregations will take place at 10am at the Colby Barn in Grayslake, IL. Our music will include performances of the combined bell choir of both congregations. A child-friendly Easter egg hunt will take place immediately after the service, along with time for fellowship. What a great way to start the day and to welcome spring!
Dave Becker is a Unitarian Universalist Minister and Interfaith Chaplain. He is Pastor for Prairie Circle Unitarian Universalist Congregation in Grayslake, IL and for Tree of Life Unitarian Universalist Congregation is McHenry, IL.
Note special service time of 10:00am for this service.
This service is a shared service between PCUUC and Tree of Life Unitarian Congregation in McHenry. Services held in person in the Colby Barn are also available on Zoom. To join us on Zoom, click on the WORSHIP SERVICES tab on our website and look for the blue Zoom link.
