About the event
Historian Cynthia Grant Tucker writes, “We befriend our history as the ground of meaningful faith. We find ourselves part of a timeless community of dreamers, with whom we can anchor our common visions and hopes of a better world.” Chaplain Dave Becker will invite us to befriend two amazing women from the Unitarian side of our Unitarian Universalist living journey, Fannie Barrier Williams and Celia Parker Woolley; who they each were individually, who they were together, and what they have to teach us at this historical moment in time about being Unitarian Universalist, and more importantly, about being human.
Dave Becker is a Unitarian Universalist Minister and Interfaith Chaplain. He is Pastor for Prairie Circle Unitarian Universalist Congregation in Grayslake, IL and for Tree of Life Unitarian Universalist Congregation in McHenry, IL.
