About the event
An old and very beautiful Irish proverb states, “It is in the shelter of each other that people live.”
In this day and age, how is that we live in the shelter of each other? As we face the challenges of our time, it can be so easy to lose sight of our connection and interconnection to one another and to our earth. Join us this Sunday in renewing and reaffirming this fundamental truth, that we live in the shelter of one another, and consider how we create a world in which this becomes possible.
Dave Becker is a Unitarian Universalist Minister and Interfaith Chaplain. He is Pastor for Prairie Circle Unitarian Universalist Congregation in Grayslake, IL and for Tree of Life Unitarian Universalist Congregation in McHenry, IL.
