About the event
Prior to entering the ministry, Chaplain Dave worked in the field of conservation education for over 22 years. In that time, he had the opportunity to hear Dr. Jane Goodall speak in-person and on-line in conferences and workshops on more than one occasion. Drawing on highlights from her speeches and writings, we will explore some of the lessons Jane Goodall offers us all on hope, on compassion, and on spirituality for the ways in which we live with one another and the natural world around us.
Dave Becker is a Unitarian Universalist Minister and Interfaith Chaplain. He is Pastor for Prairie Circle Unitarian Universalist Congregation in Grayslake, IL and for Tree of Life Unitarian Universalist Congregation in McHenry, IL.
