About the event
From standing side by side with Rev. Dr. Martin Luther King, Jr to running for president, civil rights icon Rev. Jesse Jackson was a political and moral force. When he was awarded the Presidential Medal of Freedom 26 years ago, he was referred to as “the conscience of our nation”. What lessons does the life and legacy of Jesse Jackson offer to the rest of us, ordinary and everyday people?
Dave Becker is a Unitarian Universalist Minister and Interfaith Chaplain. He is Pastor for Prairie Circle Unitarian Universalist Congregation in Grayslake, IL and for Tree of Life Unitarian Universalist Congregation in McHenry, IL.
