About the event
This month's theme is courage. Congregant Janean Friedman will explore how we need to invoke courage for seemingly routine events and stages of life. She will speak from her own experience, research, and steal a little from the science of behavioral economics. Dr. Janean Friedman has served in K-12 education for 27 years. She lives in Antioch with a husband and 2 growing children. She has found that both arenas take a tremendous amount of courage to navigate!
Janean Friedman (she, her) is a congregant of PCUUC. She is a mother of 2 children, a wife, and a dog lover. In the rest of her spare time she is the Superintendent of Emmons School District, with 27 years in education. She spent 10 years as a special education teacher, 13 years as a principal and 4 as a superintendent. She loves to read various spirituality books, listen to podcasts, crochet, and not take herself too seriously.
