Just as "white lies" can lead to just plain lying, petty theft can lead to just plain theft. What happens when a community is violated by a thief ... stripped of a reputation hard earned over decades. This is the story of a community trying to regain balance in the face of dishonesty and betrayal and the lessons we can and must learn when our UU values are being threatened by thieves in plain sight.

Steve King is a long time member/friend of PCUUC and is the retired director of executive education at the University of Wisconsin. He lives in Madison, but finds his way back to Chicagoland on a regular basis.
