About the event
Peter Seeger was a singer, songwriter and activist. He was also a lifelong Unitarian Universalist. Through his music he became an advocate for the disadvantaged, the poor, the oppressed, and the exploited. He was also a civil rights and environmental activist. We will explore the far reaching influence of this remarkable man.
February Sky is a folk duo consisting of Phil Cooper (he/him) and Susan Urban (she/her). They specialize in providing music-based services to various UU churches and fellowships while traveling with their music. Susan began presenting these services at 2nd Unitarian Church in Chicago during the 1980s and expanded to other UU churches in 1998. Initially, Phil joined Susan as a backup musician for these services. However, in 2007, they officially formed a duo and began working together to create and present services.
