About the event
Many of us recall the simplicity of youth. And then we grow up! In the midst of all the craziness and challenges, do we sometimes fall into the trap of “awfulizing” life? Making it harder than it needs to be? But does life need to be this way? Perhaps not, if we see it through the eyes of love, hope and simplicity.
Jim Whitton has been a member of PCUUC for the past seven years. He is married and has two adult children and five granddaughters, ages 13 and 6, and triplets who are one year old. Providing high quality healthcare support has always been a passion for him and is also his family’s field of choice. His wife, Patty, is a retired RN and his son, daughter and daughter-in-law are all practicing nurses and in nursing leadership positions in the local area. Jim is a retired USAF Medical Service Corps Officer with more than 25 years of service, and he is still employed as a healthcare administrator supporting the TRICARE program under the Department of Defense. His team of 24 provides healthcare support to active duty and reserve service members remotely located from military hospitals. Jim feels a deep commitment to serving others in whatever form that may take.
