About the event
Leslie will discuss the journey toward building stronger, more honest connections with others. She will talk about obstacles that can impede us from showing our true selves, and epiphanies that help us recognize the inherent worth and dignity of all people, including ourselves.
Leslie Piotrowski joined PCUUC seven years ago. She has served as the communications manager for a number of organizations, including an elementary school district in Vernon Hills. In the 1980s, she served as a Peace Corps volunteer in the Philippines and is currently on the board of the Chicago Area Peace Corps Association. She is also a debut picture book author. Abrams Books for Young Readers will release her first book in 2025. She lives in Evanston with her husband Ulrich and cat Nijinsky.
