New beginnings are something we should always be open to. In order to go further in life, we need to be open to starting over, whatever that ‘over’ is. It could be a new town, a new love, a new job, a new way of thinking. It can be very exciting and it can also be very frightening. But it is an essential part of growth.

Tret Fure’s award winning career spans 56 years, releasing 18 albums in that time. She has garnered such honors as receiving the 2023 Phil Ochs award for her outstanding contributions to social and political justice through her music, winning the South Florida Folk Festival Singer/Songwriter Competition in 2 out of 3 categories, the prestigious Jane Schliessman Award for Outstanding Contributions to Women’s Music, a Posi Award for her song “In This Circle”, as well…
