"Creativity - The Stuff Made from Stars"

Time & Location
May 26, 2024, 9:00 AM – 10:00 AM
Byron Colby Barn, 1561 Jones Point Rd, Grayslake, IL 60030, USA
About the event
I will be reflecting on the idea that Creativity is not an external element that must be sought, nurtured, developed, or captured. We'll explore the notions that the universe is created from stardust, we are all made of stardust, and Creativity is natural to all of us.
Trisha Steele (she/her) is the current President-Elect of Prairie Circle UUC but is also a first-time homily provider. She's been a member of PCUUC since 2020, but has been orbiting Unitarian-Universalism since 1995, gleaning the philosophical touchstones. Trisha's educational background is in Social Anthropology and she is curious about how people make sense of the world and how their behaviors reflect those beliefs. (She also spent a lot of time earning a living in municipal management - another story). She's nurtured and helped raise 2 sons, 4 cats, 3 dogs, a few communities, and many gardens over the years; and is currently learning about birding, cooking, and quilting. She hopes all people see themselves as integral parts of this creative world.
Services held in person in the Colby Barn are also available on Zoom. To join us on Zoom, please click on the WORSHIP SERVICES tab on our website and look for the blue Zoom link.
