About the event

I want to examine the UUA's new value and covenant statements on interdependence. I hope to do some literary analysis of the song, "Only Home I've Ever Known" by The California Honeydrops. We will explore the fragility and strength of our great web of existence and why hope for sustainability in our relationships.

Zak Havenwood recently graduated from Austin Presbyterian Theological Seminary down in Texas, where he and a small band of fellow UU students deepened their Unitarian Universalism roots while studying at a Christian institution. Zak feels called to chaplaincy and hopes to provide pastoral care with incarcerated people. He is pursuing full fellowship with the UUA and plans to begin a community internship next year. He lives in Austin with his wife and dog, Uther Pendragon.
